Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using ValkoTech (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service as an employee, contractor, or representative of an organization, your use is also subject to the policies, instructions, and agreements that apply to that relationship. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and authorized access

The Service is a private business tool, not a public consumer service. You may use it only if ValkoTech or an authorized administrator has approved your access. Access is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared. We may require you to use a company-managed identity or other approved account.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Service only for legitimate company business and in accordance with applicable law, company policies, and administrator instructions. The Service may allow authorized users to view calendars and to create, update, synchronize, or delete work calendar events.

You must not:

• access accounts, calendars, events, or other information without authorization;
• use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity;
• upload malicious code, interfere with security controls, or disrupt the Service;
• attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or connected systems;
• use calendar data for advertising, personal profiling, surveillance, or any purpose unrelated to authorized company work;
• share confidential information except as permitted by company policy.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and connected accounts, keeping account information accurate, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You must not share passwords, OAuth tokens, or access links. Actions performed through your account may be treated as actions authorized by you unless you promptly notify us of a security issue.

5. Google Calendar and third-party services

Some features rely on Google Calendar or other third-party services. Connecting a Google Account authorizes the Service to access Google data within the permissions shown on Google's consent screen and as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke that connection from your Google Account settings.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, or independent actions. Changes made through the Service may change or delete data in a connected calendar, so you should verify important calendar actions.

6. Company data and intellectual property

As between you and ValkoTech, company records and content entered into or accessed through the Service remain subject to the organization's ownership, confidentiality, records-management, and acceptable-use policies. These terms do not transfer ownership of your personal information or third-party content.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to ValkoTech and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Service as expressly permitted by these terms.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We aim to operate the Service reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned or emergency maintenance and failures of connected services may affect access.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when your role or authorization ends, an administrator requests it, these terms or company policies are violated, or action is reasonably necessary to protect users, data, the operator, or connected services. Upon termination, you must stop using the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will always be available, secure, or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ValkoTech will not be liable under these terms for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the Service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability resulting from fraud or willful misconduct where applicable.

11. Governing rules and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at ValkoTech's registered place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled by the courts or other forum having jurisdiction there, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Internal users should first raise concerns through the company's usual support or management channels.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service, company practices, or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
